Opis:
Radnja je smeštena u 2138. godinu kada su igre u virtuelnoj stvarnosti vrlo popularne. Igdrazil, popularna onlajn igra, je lagano ugašena jednog dana. Međutim, protagonista Momonga odlučuje da se ne izloguje iz igre, i onda biva preobražen u moćnog skeletnog čarobnjaka. Svet nastavlja da se menja, gde neigrački likovi (NIL - NPC) počinju da poprimaju osećanja.
